  • It was a large scale dam. In the dry riverbed facing people have leisure seats and enjoyed the scenery, etc.. Around sunset on sunset was beautiful. It is recommended.

  • We go on weekdays and before the rain more comfortable air. There is a spacious parking lot is enough for tourists. There is a tram service, but will visit the dam is open Saturdays. Sun.

  • Visit the official through the return from him. Find easy-paths. The good road. A dam that keeps the area surrounding area. Reduce the risk of flooding. There are Rapids which human invention, enough fun cruising. The strength of water control. If the force can be fun, which is usually done on a holiday with friends at the Observatory, good parking. Quiet location but only on weekdays. The holidays are dense. Hot sun, shade trees, rarely should remove umbrella. There are many delicious restaurants, medium.

  • They only want your money so they don't allow you to walk on the top of the dam but you can pay to rent a golf cart or pay to sit on a noisy bus! Another great example of Thai bureaucratic greed! The only thing that's free is the car parking!
  • We have been there for several times but the latest time, we decided to take the boat (THB1,000) for travelling inside the dam. The trail to waterfall has great atmosphere and the waterfa is clean and clear.
  • Dam itself is rather impressive and worth seeing . If you try to walk across however, you will he redirected to the golf cart mafia who will charge you 450 minimum rental so you can drive across. There were no officials in uniform nor official signage saying people could not walk, so it appears to be a pure money making racket.
  • good place to visit and nice marathon race to join with free of charge every year (just bring your head lamp because it start early morning)
  • This 2.5 km dam is likely the biggest dam in Southeast Asia, and it's the biggest mixed concrete dam in the world. This dam was built from a mixture of coal dust (remains from a coal factory) and concrete, and doesn't have a single piece of steel. It's incredibly impressive
