  • Dam itself is rather impressive and worth seeing . If you try to walk across however, you will he redirected to the golf cart mafia who will charge you 450 minimum rental so you can drive across. There were no officials in uniform nor official signage saying people could not walk, so it appears to be a pure money making racket.
  • This 2.5 km dam is likely the biggest dam in Southeast Asia, and it's the biggest mixed concrete dam in the world. This dam was built from a mixture of coal dust (remains from a coal factory) and concrete, and doesn't have a single piece of steel. It's incredibly impressive
  • good place to visit and nice marathon race to join with free of charge every year (just bring your head lamp because it start early morning)
  • It's was good weather on that day and slightly rain. They also have tram car service for visitors for 30 baht per person.
  • View is great. Cannot walk across; only Golf carts are allowed to travel the whole length of the dam, and they are expensive.
