Trip Planner: Asia / Thailand / Chonburi Province / Sattahip / Na Chom Thian / Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden
Stroll the extensive grounds of Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and enjoy a diversity of onsite activities. The 202 hectares (500 acres) of expertly crafted gardens also house a major scientific center dedicated to the collection and study of cycads--woody evergreens that were once much more abundant than they are today. Explore the charmingly themed gardens (including French gardens, an orchid and bromeliad display, and a butterfly hill) and then catch a martial arts demonstration or enjoy a traditional Thai massage. If you work up an appetite, tuck into a meal at one of the two onsite restaurants. Accommodations are available for those wishing to extend their visit. This place shouldn't be missed. It will take around 3-4 hours to complete the viewing. Be prepared for a long walk inside the garden. There are shuttles operating inside which can take to various locations, but we preferred walking. The elevated walkway throughout the garden makes it convenient to reach different places in the garden. It also protects from sun and rain. The view from the walkway is scenic and also provides an opportunity to take nice pictures. Another good attraction inside the garden is car museum which showcases many vintage cars.
Yes, you have decreased your entrance fee but increased many extra fees. For example, your elephant with some ‘good heart ‘ staff uses a tourist device to take photos and ask pay money(before there didn't tell you )and another one they only have an elephant who asks them to do some show and ask for a fee. This is no reason why your elephant is so alone and uses a chain to restrict him. I think the could pandemic let your profit down, but be treat to your animal. If someone wants to visit there I wish you buy some banana to elephant eat instead of paying some fee to whom good heart but ask you pay.
Really large garden Worth to go and take your day in there
Beautiful garden. Well maintained. They have excellent shows. Its a good one day thing to do in pattaya. We took a ride/ car to go to all the points. As its too big to walk around its better to take a ride. Not too expensive and worth a try if you are okay with a little walking. There’s cultural show, different countries cultural dancing n all and there’s elephants show.
This beautiful garden with different themes is a must see in Pattaya. It's been upgraded and renovated since my last visit in 2017. They now have bigger restaurants and added a dinosaur theme park. They have also built a new convention meeting center and have also developed a wider parking space and entrance area. You can see an elephant show here and also get to ride elephants for a fee.
