(a few reviews on the web)
Religious Site
Samret can be translated as "success" in English, and many locals go to Wat Samret to pray for achieving their goals. Amble inside to view the ornate architecture of Buddhist Thai architecture. As you enter, view the number of stone Buddha sculptures sitting in golden garments and also the white jade statue reclining, where it is said the first structure was built about a 100 years ago. • This temple is little noticed and no tourists but if that's your thing a visitor to do. Surely you can do a prayer without being disturbed is a lot of pictures

  • I must say I was surprised by the polite Wat Samret. A very peaceful place to just wander around. There is a slightly mysterious room filled with buddha statues, the largest of which, with its 3 line defines rumored to be purchased from India. The area has gained the highest and the oldest tree on the whole Koh Samui, it is over 30 meters high and over 500 years old. Well worth a visit!
