  • It's a nice small pagoda building on hill top overlooking the villages downhill. Good view from the lookout terrace.  more »
  • Be prepared to walk up 716 steps, but the walk up is worth it and the view on a clear day is exceptional. The Wat is dedicated to the late King Bhumipol's mother.  more »
  • A bit complicated to find the right road, take right diagonally, just after the market out of the city in the direction of your tuna.

  • This is a peaceful wat, unfortunately on the date of our visit, the drive path up to the mountain top (where the pagoda is) was blocked by a huge pile of sand as part of the wat was under construction. You can still climb up to the pagoda, make sure you give yourself plenty time if you're catching sunset there.
  • Prepare for a lot of steps, but there are plenty of rest pavilions on the way. The main temple was under construction when we went, but you could still go inside. Very different from others.
