  • In Mae Rim is just around the corner of our accommodation, or was, is this Wat. The system consists of several temples and is nice to look at, even or especially at night. You have to drive to see a beautiful temple not always up to Chiang Mai. At this point still be WAT ban the mentioned.

  • Back for the second time in two years in this temple, I am still on the emotion it provides. Very active Temple, nuns and Buddhist monks mix there. Several Viharns, including the most impressive that houses a tooth of the Buddha. There is a feeling of reverence, but it is possible to apply to a monk or a nun. Located in a small half hour of drive from the center of Chiang Mai, it is visited by Treasurer few tourists. Children in nearby schools clean walkways and keep the surroundings clean. The main temple was closed during my last visit. A simple request on the part of my guide and it opened just for us. A great moment of emotion... Impressions of recollection, this set of temples and the associated Park are still maintained to perfection. A great moment of peace I will not hesitate to repeat during the next visit.

  • This temple is certainly one of the most important around Chiang may a lot of important ceremonies are celebrated there. Nice Park provide 20 minute ride from the center of Chiang Mai. A lot of other things to see in the corner: Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, Siam Insect Zoo, Maesa elephant camp, Tiger Kingdom etc etc
