  • This Botanical garden is only a 30 car ride from the city of Chiang-Mai. While I was there the facility was having a festival to celebrate Thailand flowers throughout the region. The garden has a fantastic jungle canopy walk plus some amazing green houses that have various botanical life such as jungle and desert. The festival had live music and inexpensive tasty local food. A huge recommend!
  • This place has greenhouses with different kinds of plants. The arid greenhouse had some very unique succulents. The orchid area was beautiful. The variety of carnivorous plants was stunning. I particularly liked the iced tea and fruit available for sale.
  • Fantastic place to visit. Canopy walks, glasshouses of various biomes to wander. We visited in December when there was a festival on with bands and plants for sale. Loads of different species of native orchid here to see and buy while we were here (propogated).
  • With a canopy walkway and glasshouses housing orchids, ferns, tropical plants, cactuses, water plants etc., QSBG is a nice getaway from the city. The air is fresh and the place, picturesque. The garden is being built and one can expect the place to become a major tourist attraction in a year. If you love orchids, the place is a lot better than the Bhuping palace at Suthep, which in my opinion is a tourist trap. The coffee house up there is a bit expensive. Recommended time: 3-4 hours. Visit with one's own vehicle and take it inside (extra charges) as the place is vast.
  • It is quite far from the city, but it is worth to visit. I like the conopy walk and the scenery the most. Tip: you can also bring in your motorbike and drive to different locations, as the park is very big and steep.
