Maenam Beach, Mae Nam

(4.2/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Laid-back and private, Maenam Beach mainly draws a backpacker crowd. The beach offers excellent views of the island of Koh Pha Ngan, and its resorts are set much farther away than at other beaches, allowing for a quieter atmosphere. Stretch out on the soft golden sand, in the sun or under the canopy of palm trees, and then cool off in the calm sea. Amenities include many restaurant options along the beach, as well as massage kiosks offering Thai massages. If you fall in love with the spot, consider staying in one of the affordable bungalows dotting the shoreline. With our online itinerary creator, Mae Nam attractions like Maenam Beach can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • This is one of the better beaches I have visited in several Asian countries. It is still not commercialized which is lovely, very quiet and clean. Great for a family, couples, solo exercise or just to...  more »
  • This is my first time in Thailand on Koh Samui, I thought sincerely be pleasantly surprised by this destination. But now I have a very mixed review! We're far from the cliché of the land of smiles! I even felt a certain animosity towards the tourists... There are obviously exceptions Fortunately! but my feeling is there. Fervent amateur Asia, its peoples and its cultures. I remain puzzled about this destination; As Koh Samui is an island, it is perhaps the Saint Tropez of Thailand with all its derivatives?

  • The water is clear, short sands Beach to wait for low tide to play with the water, but if the water was lapping against the shore resort came to bring the stone Bluffs intended. The majority must resort to the beach, beach and the sea.
