Fish Cave, Mae Hong Son
(1.7/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Spend a lazy day out at Fish Cave. Don’t be misled by the name, as there is no actual “cave” here, it’s simply a small underground stream emerging from the rocks Fish Cave. The stream is filled with freshwater fish (mainly carp) and you’ll notice there is a small shrine near the cave because this species is held in special regard by locals. Bags of fish food can be bought nearby if you want to feed the fish, and the nearby scenery is pleasant, with open grounds suitable for a picnic. A visit to Fish Cave represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Mae Hong Son vacation trip planner to plot your vacation.

  • I wouldn't go out of your way to come here, but if you are passing by it's worth the 100 TBH entrance fee. The grounds are very well maintained. The only disappointing thing for me was the fact that t...  more »
  • I dropped by this cave while motorbiking around the area. The price of admission is 100B, which is quite steep I think for what you get; the walk to the cave is quite nice, but the thing itself is qui...  more »
