  • What a great place to be! Emily, Banks, Diana and Chin his sweet, enthusiastic people, that something amazing drop with BEES. A place where the elephant elephants again. No more rides on their backs, not more hard work, but just elephant. It was so beautiful to see how the "three ladies" enjoy nature, how they deal with their mahout and tasty eat everything and do what they feel like it. Being with the elephants in the stream at BEES I found a party, eating and bathing, super! Never have I been so close to an elephant. What an impressive animals. Majestic is a better word. But at the same time sweet. And all dogs and cats are very fine to cuddle. All special animals. The volunteer program is doing quite well. Heavier work interspersed with lighter work. I enjoyed teaching the monks that had I still like to do. So fun. The cooking class of Banks was inspiring and educational. Cutting on the ground and cooking on high heat. But the amount of salt is for us Westerners debatable. :-) In short, as far as I'm concerned (after all the stories and search on the internet) the best place to do your part to a better life for elephants. Emily, Banik, Leo, Diana and Chin and also the mahouts, all the best to you. Keep up the good work! And we hope to see you again. With love, Vincent and Marjo. P.s. The review is in Dutcht so we hope more Dutch people will come to BEES.
