  • This place is a kind of square, which also serves as a roundabout for cars. In front, there is a parking for whoever goes in vehicle. Do not charge entry. There you will see monkeys interact, feed and bathe. And going up the stairs, you will find a small Buddhist temple. You can make offerings and participate in the ceremony.

  • Most tourists come to see the monkeys, which are often a combination of cute, mischevious, and annoying. There are locals around who will help keep the monkeys under control. A good tip is expected for their monkey herding assistance. The shrine (and temple ruins) is rather standard otherwise.
  • Loved the boisterous monkeys there. They seem to be all over the city. I learned my lesson...enjoy watching them, but don't feed them. When you feed one, several hundreds will swamp you for the food.
