  • Because it's a place where elephants are kept, I expected to see them with more freedom. In short, barely better than what I have seen elsewhere. It's on the setting is beautiful, but it's the Disneiland of elephants what. I did an elephant ride because it is to do. A tip, if you have back problems, avoid. 500 baht for 30 minutes, 200 baht for a lousy photo. Basically it's average. Not been the show (200 baht more) or see the famous hospital...

  • Not touristy but a great way to see and learn about asian elephants. A little far from Chiang Mai city but great to combine with other things to do on the way back to town.
  • Very impressive centre, which seems to treat the animals really very well. Show with elephant bathing and demonstration of how the animals worked in the woods and only few circus-style elements.
