Phi Phi Islands, Krabi Town

(3.1/5 based on 4,600+ reviews on the web)
On Phi Phi Islands you can snorkel through clear waters, explore uninhabited natural areas, or hit the sand after sunset for laid-back beach parties. Initially settled by Muslim fishermen in the 1940s, the islands have since become popular with international travelers, resulting in a lively tourism sector. A strong nightlife and partying scene has emerged here since the early 1990s. When you visit, be aware that the volume of tourists has had some detrimental effects on the environment; be respectful and look to leave no footprint. Put Phi Phi Islands into our Krabi Town family vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • As it show them photos, the Phi Phi must be one of those places more beautiful of the world... Without place to doubt is worth it penalty give is a turned for know them, although taaaanto tourist can contrast slightly with that tranquility that one imagine of this place. Eye with the pollution. I saw many debris in the water and sand in several places. To be aware and take care of these landscapes so that others can continue enjoying of them!
