Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web
Explore the secluded Hong Islands, part of the Phang Nga Bay Marine National Park. Featuring the characteristic sheer rock walls of the area, the main island is uninhabited, except for the birds, white-faced gibbons, and giant monitor lizards which can sometimes be spotted lounging on the white sand beach. The island's interior hides a lagoon, accessed via a dramatic cliff passage. Elsewhere, one island holds a sheltered cove home to many birds, and impressive sandbars peek out of the water at low tide. Watch for two decent snorkeling spots. To best see the islands, choose a kayak tour, which allows you to explore the mangroves that surround the islands, and visit the lagoon at low tide when the water changes color from a deep emerald green to a clear turquoise. • Incredible, gorgeous... truly a dream island. Everything one can imagine a natural landscape in a coral island, with its Reef and a multitude of fish of all colors, including the well found Nemo with his father in their anemone's house

  • Highly recommended, take private boat and race to leave two hours earlier, to avoid crowds of tourists. Route:-Pakbia Island: nothing interesting. -Lading Island: small beach between cliffs and limestone mountains and vegetation. First snorkel. -Hong Island's Lagoon: not allowed to bathe in this place. It goes between two mountains and once inside these completely surrounded by mountains and vegetation. -Hong Island's Bay: the best beach of the day. The biggest and most beautiful.
