Rocky Bay, Koh Tao

(4.1/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web)
Lined with coconut palms and offering interesting underwater sights, Rocky Bay draws visitors to explore the marine environment. Bring your snorkeling gear for the chance to see attractive coral formations, turtles, and black-tip sharks, as the water boasts great visibility. Or sit on the rocks in the quiet bay, looking back at the lush, green landscape of the main island. Lacking the amenities of other beaches in the area, the focus here is on relaxation and gentle exploration of the sea, rather than water sports and entertainment. Make Rocky Bay a part of your Koh Tao vacation plans using our Koh Tao trip itinerary builder.

  • Some beach Boat parking lot is not suitable for shooting too much. Plain water Not so beautiful. There are streaks of restaurants.

  • This is a beach where you must have been if you are on koh tao. Beautiful blue sea and mega white beach. You paid though 100 bath per person allowed to the beach and the food and drinks is a lot more expensive than on other beaches. The beach is really a must!

  • The beach though tucked away behind a resort, but you can just go to the misses or go too. The gate will likely deter most people, but for white beach and blue water's worth. Now you must go just the way after all the way down. Simply go to the reception by, quietly follow the signs to the beach bar. Or going directly towards Beach. Actually want the resort 100 baht per visitor, who does not live in the hotel, have. But simply by going no one cares there. What can be there at the bar or restaurant, we brought everything itself but always us. There are trees where are well protected in the shade can be put anywhere. This beach has been never full when we were there. For the relax and swim ideal!
