Scuba dive, snorkel, or do your sightseeing by land at Mango Bay, with exceptionally pristine waters surrounded by lush green hillsides overlooking the sea. The bay particularly lends itself to first-time scuba divers, thanks to the clearness of the water and the many courses offered on site. • Paid access that I refused of course. Just to take the road to the resort, which apparently does not even access to the beach just to the mango bay views. Avoid... any other beautiful beach await you!

  • Very nice hotel everything is pretty clean and the view from your room is breathtaking. Please Note If you arrive at the pier there is a free water taxi which is waiting for you. We have not seen him because local taxis took away and let us pay us 1000 baht. Don't do it! You come not from the resort itself off just by water taxi so you really need to want to look up the rest. It is very nice, quiet and pleasant stay. Snorkeling is really great here!

  • We wanted to see this Pearl of the island that appears to be Mango Bay. For this, we of the borrowed a very dangerous road in scooter on 2.5 km. If you find that the roads of Koh Tao are dangerous and risky, so don't try even the one leading to Mango Bay... But well, a little adventurers in the soul, we continue our way with my companion (it has hesitated to go back several times), determined to reach its destination. After 2.5 km traveled, it is now down more than 300 steps. On this path, it is challenged by a first gentleman who we ask 200baht, but saw that boycott, it comes down to 100baht... always in the refusal, he tries to prevent my companion to spend and told him anyway if it's not now , it will be later but you will have to pay. Got everything at the bottom of the stairs, one second Mr we jump and we are asked to pay. I explain to him that given the State of the roads and stairs here, nothing justifies paying for access to the beach. "You must to pay, you must to pay!". I come to him and ask why, for what reasons? That I didn't...! The man started yelling me to turn around by us chasing his hands...! ARE WE DREAMING! NO JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PRICE! NO ROAD MAINTENANCE! COMPLETE ILLEGALITY, JUST FILL THEIR POCKETS! We turned back thanking them for their lovely home. Now, I read your comments and I see that on top of that we don't have access to the beach? BOYCOTT!

  • Best to get here by boat, can cost 100b to drive up, though the road can be steep and hard even by bike.
  • Perfect snorkelling spot
  • A decent spot for snorkelling, but there was no sun, so difficult to compare with other places. The massive swarm of fish, which apparently is always there, is really cool. Water is not as clear as in Hin Wong Bay. We got there by boat
  • Beautiful!!! You have to visit this place at least once when you are on the island.
  • Fish swarm was there, but corals all dead.
