Aow Leuk Bay, Koh Tao
(3.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Snorkel, swim, or sun yourself on the beach, at Aow Leuk Bay. On either side of the bay, boulders and reefs create underwater gardens teeming with coral, colorful fish, and even the occasional baby reef shark. No food or drink is allowed on the pristine white sand beach, but two restaurants serve delicious fresh seafood and traditional Thai dishes at reasonable prices. You can pop in and out at your leisure. • In itself a nice Bay with turquoise water. During the approach, the first 20 metres of the coast show dirty with much plastic and other waste. You make it through the first garbage then it can be nice to snorkel. By the way admission 100 BHT per person

  • This beach with a unique paid (100 beats per person) access. The price is not huge but all other beaches are free, why not this one? The sand is actually little stones therefore not great, water has a bit of plastic that floats... in short, we preferred to turn! Sad that the Western way of doing begins to arrive in Thailand...
