Ao Tanot Bay, Koh Tao
(4.5/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
While a bit hard to reach, the shoreline of Ao Tanot Bay rewards with a vibrant underwater scene just steps into the water. Get the most out of your visit by bringing snorkeling gear to get a close look at the coral reef near the beach. The crystal clear water makes viewing the large formations and tropical fish easy. When you get tired, rest in a nearby restaurant. Keep in mind the beach offers no shade, so consider taking an umbrella. Plan your visit to Ao Tanot Bay and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Koh Tao vacation route planner.

  • It is a small Bay, with the background of coral and the option to rent goggles and fins for snorkeling. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, we slept in one of the huts that are in the sand. The most economical option. The way is on a motorcycle or in a kind of bus that leaves from the port.
