  • Elephant Head Rock, a rock formation in the Similan Islands, is to find the island number 7 and 8. Located actually in the Ocean about 500 metres south of island No. 8, rise 3 rocks out of the water and with much, much imagination, a bathing elephant is there to detect. Under water, the dive site presents itself as uniquely beautiful, wild, rustic and sometimes also slightly scary. The huge granite rocks form a stomping ground for fish of any size, provide hiding places for children and adults and the many overhangs, passages, swimming criss -cross invite every diver to inquiries throughs, channels, canyons. The coral cover is rather sparse and yet, especially on the North and North East page, sometimes lush like oases in the middle of this maze of rock. Keep eyes open then you see also the eels and mantis shrimp or the small nudibranchs on the rough rocks. Due to the exposed location between the Islands, it is durchau possible to sift a Manta or a whale shark who is passing by. Flow can be quite present and can remodel also quite complete the planned dive one. All around it is at depths of around 70 metres. An impressive dive site, not because of its vegetation but with security because of the very impressive underwater landscape. Worthwhile in any case.

  • The dive went for the points. Fantastic underwater landscape is bemused at the place. Went for a dive in Phuket, one of the most impressive is the place where I was very much the point. The road going from Phuket Greenock rock. After moving the speed boat to get to the van .... But as the number of forget the fantastic underwater would look good with a beautiful place. Strongly recommended.

  • The spot is still a preserve and take advantage quickly before it's too late. It's almost has it ask if Thai people became aware of the beauty of the place. The day or there is one that will figure it out it will be too late for those who wish to see beautiful things
