Samui Snake Farm, Ko Samui

(2/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Get up close and personal with a reptile or two at Samui Snake Farm. Some of the most dangerous animals in Thailand are presented to you by snake charmers (and other performers) during the farm's two daily shows. The show includes a segment on the history of cockfighting in Thailand, with a proceeding play fight between two chickens; none are hurt during the performance. Performers encourage interaction with the snakes during the show, and afterward you might get the opportunity to handle a full-grown python. • Seriously, don't go. Even if you don't care about the animals it's just not worth it. It's ridiculously overpriced and ugly and not really safe I would say. He basically just tormented the snakes in a...  more »
  • A stop because my son love snakes! The place is a bit shabby, I would say not very well maintained. A big yes for the show with cobras and pythons. The healer is very brave. He knows his corny. Bravo. Enclosures and aquariums are not the cleanest but snakes and other reptiles do not have the sick air.
