Soak in the scenery and admire Buddhist art and architecture at Pagoda Khao Hua Jook. Recognizable by its ornate golden dome, the temple is surrounded by lush and tranquil nature. The small hill on which the pagoda is positioned offers excellent views of the Chaweng Lake and the surrounding countryside on one side, and the Samui airport on the other, making it a great vantage point for plane spotters. The pagoda is not accessible via public transportation, but you can reach it by private car or on an organized tour. Admission to the temple is free, but donations are accepted.   • Great view of the island. Many mini bells playing with the help of the wind. Wonderful breeze. Relax and enjoy city views. 
  • Went to the pagoda with the scooter. Little sought but then yet relatively easily found. First ride up a steep hill and then several stages defeat then one is already up and has a hammer views over part of the island and you can see the airport. With a little patience you can watch planes at the start and landing. The temple itself is also worth a visit. Decorated like all just with much gold.
