  • Lovely trip out of the ordinary - tasting 60 Baht per person. Self guided tour. Restaurant with food and drink. Good for a visit!  more »
  • This could hardly be described as a distillery. We were greeted by a French woman who asked if we wanted to see the 'factory' and then pointed us towards a garage. Inside was a mess of local people cu...  more »
  • We arrived quite by chance in this rum distillery, making a tour of the island. Really very pleasantly surprised! We landed in 10 people and very friendly, we were offered a tasting, we tasted the white rum and also one orange. With syrup House also. We loved! Came away with different bottles for our villa and even brought bottles in Switzerland for the delight of our friends. Our only regret is not having had the time to test the Sunday brunch, because we left the island... But we'll get that's for sure!

  • The place itself wasn't that magical. I asked the hostes if we could try the rum and she told me we could order shots which I find kind a weird. We just wanted to try the rum before buying it. Also we were expecting a range of flavors but sadly they only had the original. Anyways I bought 3 botles since I kinda enjoyed the taste.
  • We rented scooters and rode down from Chaweng in July to check out the distillery. We tasted the orange and the plain rum which you buy by the shot measure. The host explained how to taste it first, straight, and then with a spiced syrup added in. They have a pleasant outdoor sitting area and nice grounds. I believe they have food on the menu, but we didn't order any. You can also do a "distillery tour" which is a shed with windows where the equipment is (non-operational when we were visiting), and they have signs on the walls explaining step by step how the rum is made. It was only mildly interesting, but it's free, so that was good. Overall, it was a fun, exciting ride down (we're not well-practised riders), and I enjoyed tasting the rum. If you don't have time for the distillery tour (~5 mins if you stretch it out), you're not missing that much.
  • Great to see the distillery. Friendly staff. Don't expect anything compared to a scotch distillery.
  • Lame! The distillery was shut, and they were sold out of all but two types of rum. We spent just a few minutes there.
  • Great place, run by extremely friendly and welcoming people. The restaurant is excellent and plentiful, we feel mastery, very good Thai food. If you're not going to eat, go for the rum and the welcome reserved for tourists. Hope to come back to you dear compatriots!
