Koh Tan, Ko Samui

(4.4/5 based on 220 reviews on the web)
Due to the hard-to-reach location of Koh Tan, the island boasts modest tourism, ample beaches, and blue water. Coral reefs surround the island and host a large range of marine life, so take your snorkeling gear. Also hire a bike, explore the island's paths, and find the mangrove forest on the southwest coast. You can get to this attraction by boat, usually hired from one of the nearby fishing villages. • I went for the second time on the island of Koh tan 15 minutes by boat from koh samui. She is very friendly and very few people. We stopped at Missak which offers a meal on the beach and also the bungalows. As last year hospitality and food were warm and delicious incidentally that's why we came back, this year, hospitality was very simple each employee went about their business... on smartphone! more than average meals... Damage a real decline in quality, which I think is due to the fact that the owner is diversifying... As for the beach, a good "broom" would be appreciated and appreciable.. .lots of seaweed and unfortunately plastic waste rejected sea... the potential.. .to improve

  • If you want to discover an island still preserved from mass tourism, this tour is for you. Only 20 people live on the island and electricity not yet arrived (which cannot be delayed... and resorts with...). Crossing from the South of Koh Samui and partial tour of the island by longtail in Select Committee (a luxury compared to other tours!), snorkeling in a small Bay, break drink in a lagoon, walk on the island with crossing of the mangroves to reach the restaurant at the end of the world then relaxing on a beautiful beach of fine white sand before departing. Unlike other reviews I have read, I want to point out that:-the beach was clean. Samui Evasion team organizes itself to the clean-up days (and Yes, unfortunately the island does not escape the currents that can bring on the beach various wastes that others have left in the sea...) - we saw the fish in water which was not troubled, but that's not the Maldives... - lunch is simple and good (fish, chicken, vegetables (, rice and fruit) the most: authenticity, conviviality, beautiful panorama and human encounters. Thanks to Dad and our young guide Axel for this beautiful day!

  • A 20-minute crossing to the South of the island of samui, this is a nice place where you can taste the joys of snorkelling without being too many to share you a diving spot. calm and relaxing you will spend a day more than friendly.
