Laem Tong Bay, Ko Phi Phi Don

(4.5/5 based on 190 reviews on the web)
An ideal rest stop for the weary traveler, Laem Tong Bay remains almost totally secluded. Lounge around on the white, sandy beach, go for a swim in clear blue waters, or even venture out to the coral reefs for some snorkeling. The small islands opposite the beach (accessible by boat) offer pristine nature as well as some of the choicest diving in Phi Phi. Note that you need to be a hotel guest to use a sun lounger here, but look between the palm trees and you may find hammocks for public use--a cool, leafy alternative. Make Laem Tong Bay a centerpiece of your Ko Phi Phi Don vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Ko Phi Phi Don vacation generator.

  • I fortunately got to live here for about 3 months, and am so glad to have found a lovely quiet beach, unspoilt by the drunken backpackers of Ton Sai Beach! 4 Resorts spread across the beach, a couple ...  more »
  • Walk from the POINT of VIEW get behind to the left and into the forest by the sandy trail with signs summary. 30 / 40 minutes downhill through corners where hotel buildings were abandoned and damaged nature which takes its course. Swimming is well deserved. The beach is clean. The turquoise water. Restaurant of the hotel accessible. It has reconciled with the arrival on the disappointing island as tumult there a Tonsai... Positive if we do a little effort! No need to guide.

  • A beautiful sandy beach in a Bay, bordered with long tails and trees. Very quiet place frequented by Western but also Chinese tourists. A lot of young couples and families with young children. Snorkeling in front of the beach. Children of locals playing on the beach. Loved it
