Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, Ko Phi Phi Don

Must see · Landmark · Tourist Spot
Take the well-trodden path up to Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint for extensive views of the surrounding landscape at an elevation of 186 m (610 ft). The relatively easy walk usually takes about 30 minutes, and the sights from the top are well worth the effort. Unimpeded views of the town beneath, the limestone coastline, and the shining blue sea make for excellent photographs. From there, more active visitors can explore further via several walking paths heading off in different directions. Alternatively, just soak it all in at the summit, with comfortable places to sit and plenty of vendors selling refreshments. • A little long walk uphill, the view is great. There are small coffee shop at the top view points. Worth a visit.  more »
  • Its hot, ita sticky and ita a climb up a lot of steps. If a fat boy like me can do it then its worth it. The photo ops are wonderful, gardens well cared for and with the reward of a beer at the...  more »
  • An amazing view, it is worth the hike! It is really tiring walking up those steps at the start and they get steep. Go early in the morning or early evening as it is hot whilst walking. There are...  more »

  • Better than spot nr 1 and 2. Is very quite, not many tourists here. Entry 30 bath and there is small restaurant here. So romantic. I propose here to my lady. And top view of Phi Phi Island ✨🌍
  • Worth the short additional trek after viewpoint two. From here you can get the whole island into one picture, which was hard to do at view point 2 without a wide angle lense. It's an additional 20 baht per person to enter and a much simpler experience than view points 2 or 1. Only 5-10 minutes after view point 2 at a brisk pace.
  • Thank you all for the precious review. It helped a lot to know what I had to wear and what to expect. My opinion go straight to point 3 from the main road and then just follow the paths through the jungle so you will avoid all the tired steps that if you follow until point 1 you ll be dead already! I was walking alone with a great view in the most of the parts of the road with friendly monkeys next to me. It took me about 1 -tired- hour to left point 3 but it was so.. so...so.... worth it!!!! Paid 20bath entrance that is nothing for European people and it has a small amazing @quiet restaurant that you can have water/juice also some food if you like and is so quiet and beautiful..-less tourists and a monkey keeps you company as long as you are there!! On the way back I got inside from point 2 to 1 with more 30bath and came back to phi-phi on sorter time from the regular way with the tired steps —that on the way back is much more easier to can handle 💕🙏😇 If you ask me .. I still can’t believe how I managed to do it and I’m pretty sure that I won’t do it again but feel blessed that I had the opportunity & courage to be there,,,
  • If you go to Phi Phi, you MUST do this walk. At times the walk was a bit challenging, and it took us about 20 minutes. It was a good workout, totally sweaty by the time we reached the top. The view up here is absolutely stunning, we spent about an hour taking pics of the gardens, and the view from different points. We went at about 8am and it was nice and quiet only a few other couples.
  • Arrived there already after dark, the woman sweeping the floor was very rude and bossy, and demanded I take off the shoes and wasn't happy with the place I left my shoes at (although I suspect tourists before me did have their shoes on as my feet got very dirty from a brief walk on this viewpoint balcony), the whole experience felt very unwelcoming for no obvious reason, feels they just hate you but still want to take your money. They no longer give free water despite charging the same entrance fee as before. The view is not that different from what you see at Viewpoint 2, I'd say Viewpoint 2 is better.
