  • We were in a group (12 people) and hired a speed boat (phi phi travel and tours) by 6:30. We went through the main islands near Koh Phi Phi, and one of them is the Bamboo Island (koh phai). It has a large beach (sand track pretty good) and did snorkeling (the Guide, namely the helmsman on the boat indicated a intererssante place and saw a good amount of fish). When we were on the Beach had a small amount of tourists, opposite the Maya beach (phi phi leh). The visiting time is entirely up to you (snorkel, ride or swim). We were around 1 hr.

  • the way to bamboo island is the longest in our boat (were almost 2:00 to get) but is by far the most beautiful beach of Koh Phi Phi, most of the boatmen try to fool you saying you can't go there for various reasons (it's a lie, I just don't want to waste fuel). Well worth taking a whole day there!

  • Very nice place, although their facilities like toilets were very dirty. But they have a shop to buy soft drinks. The beach is so clean and clear that you can see fishes walking around you on the beach side ... imazing and very crowded.
  • People wearing military colored uniform, demanding a payment of 400 baht per person met us at the beach. They demanded payment from every one who came this day (about 100 people were at the beach). The beach is nice but doesn't reply worth this price.
  • Really beautiful island with vast beach sand strip. It can get a little bit crowded, but if you will come in the after noon you will be able to find some quiet spots, free of people and speed boats.
  • Except for the dirty toilet and 400 bhat extra that needs to be paid, this place is a must to be on your list. Snorkelling here was such a good experience.
  • too many nosiy chinese !!even though i am one of them
