  • My beautiful paradise island. I first visited Ko Mak over 20 years ago. I never forgot this small island which was in my eyes and memory the closest thing to paradise I'd ever seen. So when a special ...  more »

  • Beautiful island with abandon luxury resort ruins which you can visit as long as you don't destroy something. They've put white sand on the island before declared it as a protected landscape this makes it look more unrealistic. It's perfect for a day trip. You can only reach out with a boat and you have to pay for entrance. The water is clear like glass but take care there are seats urchins around. The environment with the black lava stones is stunning though. There is a small size where you can buy drinks and chips as well, but you can also bring your own food. As long as you stay at the front side everything is pretty and clean. Going a bit far behind the ruins, they burn trash and you will find tons of waste left behind from the construction time. It's a pity! The island is not overcrowded, maybe because of the price, but nevertheless it would be great if they would find another solution for the waste then burning and hiding it behind the buildings.
  • It's a private island where it costs 200 bath per person to enter, soft drink is included in the price (but good to know, there aren't any restaurants on the island, so if you want to eat something you need to bring it yourself). We got there with a kayak and thought it was really worth it. The beach is the most beautiful one that I've seen in the area with white sand and not much people. There is a path of sand you can walk on out far in the water, really cool, and I've heard that it's even possible to walk out to the island when the tide is low. Well worth a visit!
  • We came there with a private tour as part of a birthday celebration. It's for sure the nicest beach and water and sand we saw on this trip and I saw around Koh Chang. Yes there is an entrance fee of 200 B to pay but it's worth it. If you like to enjoy a beautiful beach, swimming and snorkeling in clear and clean water... Koh Kham is a place to go.
  • Beautiful small island just 10 min from Koh Mak
