  • The school is designed to teach monkeys to collect coconuts, they raise their own and also accept private monkeys. The school is not really an attraction but have grown up with it thanks to tourism, they show the apes "job" and even have a few monkeys that do not seem to have been sold and hence had the time to learn things such as collecting coconuts in wheelbarrows or bicycles with trailers. Fun to see how they solve simple problems. You have also the chance to take pictures with the younger monkeys. It was quite different there compared to how many described it as an awful place. And one thing that people don't understand is that all that you drink/eat with coconut on Ko Lanta such as coconuts or a curry is picked by these monkeys. Average rating is because of the price.

  • Loved seeing the monkeys but it's very sad to see them all tied up. Great show done and they are very talented, make sure you feed them when you get there take a bananas with you.
  • Much to short chains tied it must languish and present ridiculous things for tourists. Support definitely. Like all activities (especially) wild animals!
