#3 of 6 in Nature in Ko Lanta
Indulge in white sands, lush coastal forests, and extensive underwater environments at Ko Rok Nok, the outer of the Ko Rok island pair. Hit the blue waters to explore the multitude of reefs and coral systems near the shore. Bring snorkeling gear to fully appreciate the teeming colorful fish and other wildlife. Alternatively, simply stretch out on the shore and enjoy the sun, soft sand, or shade of overhanging trees. Consider renting a beach tent for a bit more privacy. Keep an eye out on land for the island's giant-size monitor lizards. • We were with a speed boat from our hotel (situated very South) picked up. The crossing takes round 40 minutes. The snorkeling experience of superlative was unfortunately - a few fish were to be seen, otherwise unspectacular. At least nothing what we on our recent tour (Mexico, Croatia...) would have seen. The Bay between the two islands but makes up for everything. The clearest water, turquoise blue, powder sand beach. Absolutely worth seeing! You must be thinking is however away many, many people. (Left of the beach looked at least on the swimming page - Tip: always go to the right.) There fewer people cavort, because you can not swim there!) We have booked a tour for 1700 baht per person. Whether it is now justified, everyone must decide for themselves. Bottom line: Okay, snorkel miracle miracle beautiful Bay

  • A beautiful clear water. Fish, see without having to go far from the coast, but people may be roadkill Spartan holiday season to try and hold for a few nights. Have a tent and the property of the National Park, we can contact the officer on the island., or book through a sitemap, but it should be a broader range of preparation if you are overnight after tourist boat back, exhausted. The little fish are opportunistic Stampede will come out show. .......

  • The island was really gorgeous. In front of the island was in a coral reef, which got snorklailla but life jackets on. The park guards were forced to intervene in this matter, because this group was somehow vaikee to understand the import pelastuliivin. The island was a little too much there, but otherwise very good.

  • Beautiful beach with amazing snorkeling right off the soft white sand beach. Visibility is good. Monitor lizards roam the area, which is cool to see. There's a lifeguard, which is unusual. Unfortunately it's packed with people who are pretty clueless as to respecting the coral, and you can see the effects on it. I've never seen so many people taking weird trying to be a model type photos in one place... Try to catch a tour that hits here at a different time from the rest of the tours.
  • Ok trip to this island but it always felt like a major tourist procession. The snorkeling is superb with some of the clearest waters in the area and pretty much the best selection of fish you can imagine.
  • We went there snorkeling for one day and it was a awesome trip. I think, it is the same like every travel agency sells you there. 1. pickup at hotel 2. speedboat to koh rok 3. snorkeling at different places 4. lunch buffet at the beach with free time 5. snorkeling again 6. drop off at hotel. But you should negotiate with the prices. The range was 1700 THB to 1200 THB for Koh Rok 1 Day.
  • Amazing place, well worth a visit. Dont expect to see much live coral.
  • The water is very clear and not too cold. You can swim with your eyes open in the deep of water.
