Koh Kradan, Ko Kradan

(4.7/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Set against lush rolling hills, the white sandy beach of Koh Kradan slopes gently into the bright blue sea. The beach serves as a popular snorkeling spot, and at low tide the sandbars stretch out in natural piers. Less populated than its counterparts, this spot lacks the bustle of its neighboring fishing villages. The handful of resorts here means that restaurant options can be pricey, so bring your own snacks if you're on a budget. Snap pictures of the colorful longtail boats anchored just offshore, and laze in one of the hammocks suspended from the trees. • This is a gorgeous island. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it. The beach is long, great for long walks. Lots of day tourists between 11-3pm but afterwards, when all the boats leave, yo...  more »
  • Beach front beautiful sea water swimming with fish of various kinds can be seen from the coast. In the evening the water will go down very far, see a small animal that is the beach and the Sea Urchin.

  • We stayed 3 nights at this little gem of an island, where peace and tranquillity spread when tourist boats sailed away. Here are good opportunities for snorkeling and nice beach. We stayed at The Seven Seas Resort, if only plus is that it looks nice. No matter where we have traveled the world, we can not name a place with worse service than here. Breakfast is deficient, there is no cover at all, you have to guess where things are. The tiny coffee machine lacked water all the time, so there was a queue all the time – of course not cubits long, since the number of people on the island is limited, but it felt like that. Control lived all on-the-spot, since most came from Bangkok. They went much up in their private talk, mobiles and Rügen cigarettes on the sly. We gave up eating there when there thankfully were other restaurants on the island. We had a deluxe double room. The room was ok with a view of the back of another House and to the side a small waterhole, not smelled too good-totally unprepossessing. We thought that it was a black colored toilet, but discovered that it was ants in the thousands. It only took a small war to get them removed! We will never again at The Seven Seas Resort, but like at Koh Kradan, since it is a small beauty island.
