Klong Plu Waterfall, Ko Chang

Waterfall
At Klong Plu Waterfall a foaming torrent of water slices through the cliff face. A 15-minute walk across rough terrain leads you to the deep-cut cascade, but steps hewn into the rock with rope banisters make it easily manageable. Cool off in the pool beneath the waterfall. A nature trail offers for a pleasing diversion through the surrounding forest on the way back (hike takes 30-40 minutes). This route also features some steep sections with rock steps. • Feel like walked into a jungle. Many trees and insects. 20mins walk is needed. Although the road was a bit slippy and wet, it's not that difficult as I thought. It was a Good experience to see a waterfall. If u are dare enough , u can even swim there. Worth to spend some time there.
  • be aware that waterfall is not free, but 200 bath isn't a big fee to visit beautiful rainforest see a small, but beautiful waterfall and swim in cold fresh water down the waterfall. Be aware, that not all time of the year water is actually in the waterfall. Also, bring mosquito repellent due to huge amount of these guys on the way to waterfall. (pretty obvious, but I saw a lot of people complaining about it.
  • A great place to visit, short walk through the jungle to the waterfall and to natural swimming pool to soak in the heat, cold and refreshing water is there and plenty of fish too.
  • Such a disappointment! It's a small waterfall, and not at all worth the 200 baht entrance fee. The walk through the woods is pretty, but only 500m each way, so again not worth the money to do it. Give it a miss and get a massage or rent a kayak instead!
  • Very lovely waterfall in the jungle - takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there - good shoes work much better than Flipflops. It opens at 8am - and I suggest to go early: we were (almost) alone when we arrived - but when we left around 10:30, already tons of tourists were there. Entrance fee is 200 baht and parking you car / scooter is free within the compound. No food or drinks (except water) are allowed but there is a Picknick spot right before you start walking the trail. Best part: there are literally tons of small fish that nibble on your skin (prefer the fee& face)!!! The water is cool but not cold and helps to cool down after the small hike through the humid jungle. We went here during the high season (26.12.) - so probably more water during the rain season.
