  • We have liveabord booked a several-day snorkel trip and visited this beach on a day in the afternoon. Babysharks in the mangroves, turquoise-blue water, wonderful sea. During the day not crowded as snorkelers from the adjacent camps are on the move.

  • We came to the island-one of five Surin Islands on a snorkeling excursion. We had a meal included in the restaurant. It was the white beaches and crystal clear waters. The snorkeling was a disappointment for those of us who are used to the Red Sea. A little thin with fish, but nice corals. There were huts and tents where you could make an overnight. A good tip: there was no toilet paper at toiletterna. We were only there for an hour before the boat took us to the next island where we visited the village to "Moken"-people a kind of "sjösigenare" called. Nomads who live by the sea, which has its own language, no written and who've spent uppmerksomhet after the tsunami when they forutsåg event when the dom according to ancient legend, knew that when sea dro back wanted to wave to come. They rescued themselves and many tourists. Unfortunately it came many tourists there at our visit, but they feed, except by sea, by selling some crafts. Now they have become Thai citizens and received opportunities to school etc. Very specifically to visit the village. They allowed themselves to be photographed, but give love to someone ärsättning. I have to admit, it felt a little like an invasion, however.

  • Less well-known than the Similan Islands because more distant, 1 h 30 from boat from khao Lake, we did this tour on 1 day, scenery: beaches of white sand, turquoise waters, the water is more than 30 °, 2 stops snorkeling, fish of all colors, the seabed are gorgeous, rocks like on postcards. Appreciate the stop on the island village of sea Gypsies, I understand why, because no explanation or purpose for this visit. Much less tourists that on similan meal bof to do it is great

  • Snorkel and coral is not enough good as my expectation, but everything in this island is cool and natural, nothing artificial. People is the best part. I had stayed for 5 nights and met many cool people. From the beginning I pitched tent had a lot of wind, people around me gave me a hand with a great smile. Many things lacked, specially fruits which is my daughter's favorite though. But it doesn't matter and she had a lot of fun with people in this island. I highly recommend this island to the people who want real relax and happiness with people, not money and materially comfortable.
  • This was one of the best days --- the sealife was fantastic. Tge coral although lots of it had mostly died which is a terrible shame. I believe they are trying to restore. Boat company was extremely well organized and provided plenty of foid and beverages. Would highly recommend
  • Incredible place. We camped for 5 days and snorkeled twice a day from a boat they have. It's really cheap and so simple and relaxing as there aren't any other distractions. The under water life is incredible. You can see sharks, turtles and i saw an octopus.
  • Aow Mai Ngam has more space and wider Beach. Nice stay!
  • Beautiful beach, crystal clear water. Well conserved and protected nature. Basic accommodation in bungalows or tents. Park staff very helpful and nice. Co-operative restaurant offers food 3 times a day. Electricity only few hour in the evenings. Coral sadly devastated due to climate and natural disasters but new coral already starts growing. Recommendable for nature lovers and families.
