  • As an avid snorkeler, I appreciated the 60 - 100 foot visibility in the waters out by the island. Good Coral even though it is still showing damage from the tsunami, pretty good fish life, didn't see ...  more »

  • We camped four nights at this park and sincerely I made it hard to leave. The beauty of the island is indescribable, a little piece of peace completely unspoiled. The sea is clear and clean, with a great snorkeling (at reasonable prices). I note that on the island there are no hotels but only tents or small bungalows, so you need some adaptability, considering that there is no hot water and the electricity is turned off at about 21.00. I highly recommend Sabina tour to the island: friendly and efficient (they even booked the bus back to Bangkok). P.s. at the entrance to the Park you will find a sign, in English, showing the degradation of all time the campsite is well stocked with plastics bags (complete with recycling)! Respect the environment! :) :) :)

  • Snorkel and coral is not enough good as my expectation, but everything in this island is cool and natural, nothing artificial. People is the best part. I had stayed for 5 nights and met many cool people. From the beginning I pitched tent had a lot of wind, people around me gave me a hand with a great smile. Many things lacked, specially fruits which is my daughter's favorite though. But it doesn't matter and she had a lot of fun with people in this island. I highly recommend this island to the people who want real relax and happiness with people, not money and materially comfortable.
  • This was one of the best days --- the sealife was fantastic. Tge coral although lots of it had mostly died which is a terrible shame. I believe they are trying to restore. Boat company was extremely well organized and provided plenty of foid and beverages. Would highly recommend
  • Incredible place. We camped for 5 days and snorkeled twice a day from a boat they have. It's really cheap and so simple and relaxing as there aren't any other distractions. The under water life is incredible. You can see sharks, turtles and i saw an octopus.
  • Aow Mai Ngam has more space and wider Beach. Nice stay!
  • Beautiful beach, crystal clear water. Well conserved and protected nature. Basic accommodation in bungalows or tents. Park staff very helpful and nice. Co-operative restaurant offers food 3 times a day. Electricity only few hour in the evenings. Coral sadly devastated due to climate and natural disasters but new coral already starts growing. Recommendable for nature lovers and families.
