  • Went today and was quite surprised by its location. Right on the river and has some great places to visit. If you go check out the cave and waterfalls. Make sure to bring snacks and water.  more »

  • Very interesting geological site. The river dries out in the dry season, exposing the corraded river bed.
  • Beautiful for sight seeing
  • Good
  • Kaeng Tana is a small, but nice national park. It features a forest which can be driven through by car, a water fall and a beautiful spot to take photos of the Mun river and two bridges. The park can be best reached via the 2173 coming from the south or from West via the 2222. If you come from that direction it is recommended to cross the Pak Mun Dam for the great view. Accommodation is directly available in the national park or in one of the several hotels in the nearby village Khong Chiam which is worth a visit too since the Mekong and Mun river cross there as the so-called Two Color River. From there it is also possible to take boat to Laos which is right across the river.
  • Magnificent sight!
