Overlooking the blue lagoon below, Wat Tham Khao Tao represents one of the largest temples in the region, filled with Buddha images and statues. The temple is at the top of the village, looking down on the colorful fishing port and secluded beach. In addition to large Buddha statues, the shine also houses figures of notable monks. Dress appropriately for a holy site. Use our Khao Tao trip itinerary website to add Wat Tham Khao Tao and other attractions to your Khao Tao vacation plans.

Once there, the complex which in and outside of the rocks is visited. It's not a real Temple but a collection of Thai Chinese and india boedistishe images with images. Beautiful views of the sea and fishing boats. To visit the big Buddha is a whole climb up. Also in the freshwater lake near is a picturesque Temple

Situated in height and by the sea, this temple is particularly pleasant to visit and easy to access. You will then be able to visit the small and cool beach of Khao Tao. more »

A very typical and Chinese temple very worth a visit. Built on a beautiful mountain in Khao Tao village where the river from the lake meets the sea. Climb up to the Big Buddha and down to the Sai Noi beach. We often take our guests to the temple to explore buddhism and and meditate on the cliff. Up by the female goddess Quan Yin you find the small museum and a shop run by the nuns.

Strange temple experience that was! Artificial caves and a lot of statues. As somebody before said "Santas Grotto". But nice view to Hua Hin from the top where the Big Buddha is.
