Pak Weep Beach, Khao Lak

Beach · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
If you enjoy quiet beach vacations and combing the sand for souvenirs, check out Pak Weep Beach. This attraction is known for the beautiful shells and coral pieces that wash ashore at night. To gather the best pieces, arrive at sunrise with a bag to hold your finds. A few resorts and restaurants are available in the area, but this beach is still one of the island's most undeveloped. Use our Khao Lak day trip site to add Pak Weep Beach and other attractions to your Khao Lak vacation plans.

  • A clean long stretch of sandy beach. It has managed to stay unspoiled by tourism, and I really hope it stays that way. More green spaces than in Phuket, still it doesn't mean that deforestation is not a problem. We saw a lot of palm plantations, but hope they learn to keep a balance, and understand that the forest, and mangroves protect the beautiful beaches.
  • Fantastic beach directly outside our nice hotell Mai Thai Khao Lak. All time plenty of place when to look have a bath in the ocean.
  • Beautiful beach with not that many people in the high season. The only negative is that there are sea lice or tiny jellyfish or something that makea your skin tingle while in the water. Small stings or something... not nice at all. Amount of stings differ from day to day.
  • Wonderfull, fine sand, can be quite strong currents so tend your kids. Also be aware of jellyfish (stingers) like on any other beach in this ocean
  • It is our favourite beach in Khao Lak. It's always nearly without people and there are 3 lovely restaurants and a very good massage.
