Sai Yok National Park, Kanchanaburi
(3.7/5 based on 320 reviews on the web)
Filled with caves, teak trees, and exotic wildlife, Sai Yok National Park remains best known for its beautiful waterfalls. View the Sai Yok Yai waterfall from a rope suspension bridge across the Khwae Noi river. You can also exploring the park's large caverns, which reveal impressive stalactites and stalagmites. While you hike the trails, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife--inhabitants here include the Malayan porcupine, sambar deer, wild pigs, elephants, tigers, gibbons, and the red, white, and blue queen crab. Do not worry though: the more dangerous species on this list are quite shy. If you want to see the smallest mammal in the world, the Kitti's hog-nosed bat, visit the cave of Tham Khang Kow and take a flashlight.
