  • The vast space, there are no other flights. If it is going to learn history and see the ancient monuments can take an entire day because of the very wide.

  • Temple the 13TH Khmer located in a large plain. It has some resemblance to the Cambodian temples of Angor, by logic, but these are more humble. Are quite well preserved, despite everything. Although most of the remains are not in the complex (statues in that there are only reproductions). The material with which the complex was built (4 buildings are in fact) is the laterite for your wall, and four temples: largest and main one, and other sides of it. If these there is worth a visit, but it is not something essential. It is the curiosity to see "so far" culture and architecture Khmer.

  • Was a week day and nice to see the old history. Small-scale and fun to do if you're in the area. Not to go outside of kanchanaburi specifically here.

  • It's the Western most site from the Khmer empire still standing in decent condition. While interesting for its historical significance, it's rather small with minimal to see. For those that have been to bigger ruins, this place is a nice stop but not worth coming all the way for
  • A mini-Angkor Wat -- historical ruins from the same empire, although only a fraction as impressive as the ruins in Siem Reap. Stop by if convenient, but not really worth making a special trip.
  • It's a nice place with one nice sight to see but not much else. The price is a little high compared to better sites in thailand.
  • One of the best historical sites in Thailand.
  • Very nice park, with some temple ruins, quiet, off the tourist track - definitely a hidden jewel
