  • It is well worth a visit but be warned it is quite a walk. Steps all the way down to the bottom of the tree and you need to be reasonably fit for the walk back up.  more »
  • wonderful feeling to be under this grandpa tree, it's on the way to the city of Kanchanaburi so it's worth stopping by for a photo!  more »
  • We visited the Giant Tree on Friday. The tree is huge and healthy. We spend about 20 minutes at the tree. It was a quick good visit.  more »

  • It's the biggest tree I've ever seen. Worth the drive out , you pass a horse santuary type place with tons of helthy horse s.
  • Peaceful. Locals tell me the tree is 735 yes old...But I would believe any number over 200.
  • It is not far away from the city, yet in a countryside. It is also not a long detour if you go to see the waterfalls and historic places.
  • Seeing giant tree in the middle of nowhere might sound nonsense, but actually it's good experience in some ways. You could spend quite some time photographing there.
  • Beautiful place and historic view.
