Pick up a unique souvenir at The Family Tree, a shop specializing in authentic Thai arts and crafts created by local artisans. A few treasures found at this attraction include hand-woven silks, natural cosmetics, paintings, recycled sculptures, jewelry, and toys. All products come directly from community groups, ethnic minorities, disabled artists, small family businesses, and environment projects. When you make a purchase here, you support the local Thai community. A children's corner is available in case you would like to leisurely browse a while. How to describe?!?! Amazing, Stunning, Beautiful, Perfect in so many ways.. this place is a must if you visit Thailand, not just Hua Hin, for 180 Baht you can get a minivan from Bangkok, go shopping in Hua Hin and visit this place! Once you arrive you're greeted by sawasdee ka, and an amazing smile from the owner.. once you've stopped beaming yourself, you're presented with very detailed information about each and every piece on sale. The shop purchases goods from communities that are impoverished or suffering hardship, providing them a fair price for their work, and helping them to maintain their lives. The products are all beautiful, my only regret is that I didn't have enough money to buy all their stock from them! You'll find everything, from clothing, to footwear, bags, scarves, jewellery, beautifully crafted pieces of pottery and silverwork.. This is absolutely a must-see place.
