Golf Course Outdoor Activity
With its claim to fame as the country's first golf course, Royal Hua Hin Golf Club still does not disappoint. This 18-hole course first opened in 1924 under the lead of Scottish railroad engineer O. A. Robins. The natural jungle setting affords spectacular views of the Thai countryside. The par 72 course features tree-lined fairways, onsite cafes and restaurants, plus extras like a driving range, chipping green, putting shop, pro shop, and electric carts. If you're lucky, you may spot some monkeys hanging from the trees. Fear not, knowledgeable caddies are available as needed. Where to stay in Hua Hin

Catering to the urban crowd from Bangkok and international visitors, Hua Hin offers a good selection of rooms to suit most budgets. Resort-style hotels and smaller boutiques generally remain closer to the sea, with some establishments offering direct access to the beach. Step back from the coast to see a drop in prices for simpler rooms in areas where guesthouses and hotels remain the norm. Explore the area around Phetkasem Road for more options with very competitively priced rooms.

  • Only used the driving range, but it was good. 20B per tray of balls. Pretty empty which was good. Reason for 4 stars, - 80B for small beers, - 50B for use of any club, swapping a club for a different club will still cost you another 50B.
  • Oldest course in HH. Fairways are a bit patch in places and you need to watch out for the dogs before you take your shot. One of the cheapest rounds of golf around. Probably worth it in comparison.
  • The first golf course built in Thailand. It is a mountain course and there are always some monkeys around the fairways to make the game a bit more interesting. A good course but needs to be maintained a little better.
  • Course is dried out but inexpensive on Sports Days.
  • Next to the railway station, within walking distance from the town center.
