  • Visit to floating market in hua hin is a waste of time and money. From market village for example taxi want about 300 to 400 Thai baat one way..then there's entrance fee of 200 per person. Family of 4...  more »
  • Shockingly awful. I have never seen so many miserable and depressed Thai people... (I am talking about the staff). There is no floating market. It’s just a bunch of shops on a raised platform, set out...  more »

  • Very sad place... Basically no one around. Probably dieing a slow self inflicted death due to the racist entrance policy... Free for thais... 200 baht otherwise.... Didn't go in. Wish I could give it zero stars!
  • Waste of time and money. As all other comments say, charge 200baht for tourists. No boats on water. Basically shops surrounding a lake, pretty much all selling tshirts and food. Boat trip around lake was pointless as you couldn't see anything different to walking around. All looks very run down. Really not worth visiting. Wish I had read trip advisor first.
  • Entrance fee is including boat riding.Wide compound and shopping can be done by walking. Prices are cheap and mostly about 100 bht for everything.Thai traditional show programs are playing as 10:30 AM TO 11:00AM, 11:00-11:30AM,. EVENING times are ( 12:30 - 1:00, ) (1:00-1:30, )(2:00-2:30) (,3:00-3:30) (, 3:30-4:00PM). Goat bottle feeding is 20bht per bottle. kids train riding fee is 20bht/person.There is no boat selling activities.
  • All seems old, and nothing new to see. If you decide to take a boat trip, you must now wear lifejacket. A big plus for that! 😊
  • Not worth your time. Souvenir shops and eatery's. All build for tourists. I regret I've been there and paid the entrance fee (100 baht). Thai traditional dance show was the only thing worth seeing.

Where to stay in Hua Hin

Catering to the urban crowd from Bangkok and international visitors, Hua Hin offers a good selection of rooms to suit most budgets. Resort-style hotels and smaller boutiques generally remain closer to the sea, with some establishments offering direct access to the beach. Step back from the coast to see a drop in prices for simpler rooms in areas where guesthouses and hotels remain the norm. Explore the area around Phetkasem Road for more options with very competitively priced rooms.
