Chopsticks Hill (Khao Takiab), Hua Hin
Categories: Landmarks, Sacred & Religious Sites, Tourist Spots
Climb to the top of Chopsticks Hill (Khao Takiab) by foot, or in a taxi or tuk tuk, for commanding views of the Hua Hin coastline. Dozens of monkeys live on the mountain. Though friendly, they will try to grab food from you and rifle through your bag if you are not careful. On the side of the mountain sits a small but attractive Buddhist temple--accessed via steep stairs--and a tall, golden, standing Buddha statue can be found near the bottom of the steps. Work out when and for how long to visit Chopsticks Hill (Khao Takiab) and other Hua Hin attractions using our handy Hua Hin itinerary planner.
