Erawan Falls, Erawan National Park
(4.5/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Marvel at the power and beauty of nature at Erawan Falls, a seven-tiered waterfall that cuts right through the national park bearing its name. Swim in the pools created by the flowing giant, and admire the surrounding caves, replete with interesting rock formations. With great views of the surrounding landscape from each level of the waterfall, getting to the top isn't a requirement, but more adventurous visitors may wish to expend the energy. A great variety of wildlife awaits, but take care lest you come across the more dangerous inhabitants, such as the king cobra or python. Plan to visit Erawan Falls and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Erawan National Park attractions using our Erawan National Park vacation planner.

  • The waterfall or waterfalls are really very beautiful and inviting to bathing. We ran up to the 7th level, what was though exhausting, but you could cool off yes then. Unfortunately, we were there on Saturday and it was very crowded, because many locals to visit. So you'd better take a week out.

  • Marvelous ! unbelievable ! 7 beautiful waterfalls. and you can swim in the river near the waterfalls. trees and plants everywhere, you feel like you are i the jungle (well actually you are). there's clear blue water everywhere with a lot of fish that come and nimble on your skin. its a scary experience at first but after a while it becomes kid of a massage (and its harmless of course). This is one of the must sees in Thailand ! if you don't do any swimming, its a 2h hike (up and back), but I strongly advice you to make time to relax in the water.
  • Not too far from town. Good 2 hours hike to get to the top. Beautiful rock formation. Blue-green water. Fishes that nimble your entire body. Safe. Great place to camp.
  • Love the blue water here and the funny, tickling fish so much. Laugh a lot when I swim or put my legs in the water...hahaha. better than going to fish spa.
  • It is a very nice Park with a nice walk up to the 7th waterfall. However the double pricing policy is really a massive turn off when you pay your tax for years in Thailand and still get to pay 300baht to get in.
  • One of the best hikes we have ever done. We had so much fun. 7 main waterfalls along the path. It was fun to get in, swim around and enjoy the fish pedicures. Also, we saw snakes, monkeys, butterflies and a lot of other cool wildlife while there.
