If you enjoy walking in the bush this is for you. It’s a interesting walk but not super easy, lots of steps up and down so I don’t recommend for people who have difficulty walking. But I enjoyed walki...  more »

Interesting natural monument. Climbing up the hill gives a view of the valley. It was very dry when we went mid-February. Not the most inviting that time of year. May not be the most exciting place for everyone.

Decent outing from Chiang Mai, pack water, and during the hotter months going in the morning is best. 100b per adult/50b per child entrance fee, and there is a moderate 1km hike to to the rock formations. Worth it.

Interesting rock formation. Need some effort to climb up and down the cliffs. Beware if you're driving: you'll need to pass through a stretch of dirt track which is a one-lane bidirectional road.

Unusual limestone formations and good hiking. As others have mentioned the main observation area is not that big but there are surrounding trails. Best in the winter months... A good, short trip from Chiang Mai.
