  • Beautiful wat. Certainly worth the visit. Very busy with tourists and locals but still peaceful. One of many wats in Chiang Rai. The history of the wat is shown on a plaque.
  • Chiang Rai province was the capital of the Kingdom of Lanna, Thailand. Old temples that still remain. Wat Phra is one of them. Have been to Chiang Mai's Wat Phra that looks are placed where Buddha images and Buddha image looks just like. Thing is that brother Temple? I think it is worth watching because the buildings are beautiful.
