  • This temple is a large temple with all of the usual features. It has a nice Burmese chedi and is a quiet space. It would not be top of my Chiang Mai list.  more »

  • My place. Beautiful pagoda hidden near the hectic area of local market yet serene. You almost get this beyond time feeling on a good lighting day... Photoshoot here is not a bad idea at all.
  • Most beautiful pagoda I've ever seen!
  • Beautiful temple..
  • The Wat Saen Fang is an old temple located in Chiang Mai. The chedi and the ubosot on the west side of the compound is late 19th century Burmese, built during the Burmese occupation of Chiang Mai. The viharn is in the Lanna style and had served as the Royal Hall of Chao Kawilorot
  • This temple seems to be off the tourist trail, set back off Tha Phae Road, through a gate and up a path to the temple buildings. There was a worship service going on when we walked in and hearing the monks' chants in the quiet surroundings was quite an experience.
