  • Chiang mai is full of small and medium sized temples and this is one of many. If it is on its own via deserves to be seen. The wa-hahn is made entirely of teak panels and supported by giant 28 columns. The main decoration on the façade is a Peacock standing on a dog that represents the astrological year of birth of the Governor of the city. Inside there are as always: ancient bells Templars, some typical gilded wooden Buddhas here, manuscripts and ceramics. Free entrance.
