  • I am so hesitant to even mention this beautiful forest temple but I like to share nice places. I hope that only people who appreciate Buddhist temples will go here. It was one of my favourite places i...  more »
  • Remember where Mowgli stumbles upon the ruins of the Palace in the jungle and meets Cobra? Here the feeling about the same (snakes, thank God, is not met), the authors of the previous reviews write that like Angkor Wat-probably, I will agree. The temple is located half an hour from the city, had to take a taxi, but a taxi here affordable and unforgettable impressions. The sign go on foot (sneakers are extremely desirable, plus something from insects and water with them, there is nowhere to buy there).

  • First of all, it is a meditation place. Not a picnic area so visit and be quite please. Amazing place with amazing atmosphere for relaxing and meditate. Was great untill families came and make noise. Respect the place and the locals.
  • We had a hike up to Wat Pha Lad temple. It was quite a journey! But so worth it - the temple and its surroundings are very beautiful.
  • Wat Palad is an exquisite temple hidden in the forest on the way up Doi Suthep. The best way to view this temple is by hiking up the trial starting at the beacon at the top of Suthep rd. You'll know you're on 15th correct path by re Orange cloth tied to the trees.
  • Favorite temple i've seen in Thailand so far. Beautiful and serene, almost like it's hidden.
  • Very beautiful and inspiring temple with a view over Chiang Mai.
