A very big park and really royal in its sense. Best way to explore it is through the shuttle bus which is free inside the park. Private vehicles are not allowed but if you want to ride bicycle then you can hire it at 60 baht. Other way to explore it is through club car ( golf cart) which is a bit costly 800 baht per hour.park is really beautiful and there are 11 main points inside. They give you map so you can use it for navigation.keep yourself hydrated and enjoy.
If you like flowers - especially orchids - you should not miss this place. It's at its best in January and early February. I've been here a few times over the years. I like going in the afternoon when the light is better for photography. The international gardens are well worth seeing. Each country makes its own presentation, and each is quite unique. There is a free tram available. Take it around once so that you get a feel of what's there, then pick the places to which you want to walk. The temple and accompanying grounds are stunning. Do not miss it. It's about a 30 minute drive from Chiang Mai. Plan to spend 2 to 3 hours easily.
This place is big as it's name implied; Royal garden. The place is really clean. No shade though. Long walk to cover all attractions. There's a free shuttle transport going round the place at selected stops. Worth a visit. Go in the morning. The afternoon is very hot and will close before you can complete your tour inside.
Such a stunning and peaceful park. Got so many gardens to explore. You can easily take the free shuttle bus to go around the park. Perfect for relaxing. Orchid garden and the flower dome are my favorite, hands down.
It's a very large park with displays of many gardens from around the world. I needed some exercise so decided to walk instead of riding the shuttle bus. I spent a good part of the day here. I recommend visiting during cooler weather or use an umbrella to shield yourself from the hot sun if you decide to walk the entire park.
