  • We went to this field of elephants thinking that we were going to a place ethical and respectful with them. We find ourselves with shackled elephants. The excuse was that the road was on the side and so they could not escape, but even so I didn't so nothing vi. We bathed them and we did eat, but there were people who would do a tour by riding them. Naive of us were contributing to sites such as this to succeed. Guide saw me face and said me then the elephants are released by the mountain and that was them well. Not be what to think, but had all the time a bad feeling and sadness. My wife began to cry without being able to avoid it. If you are going to visit elephant, please search well where are going to go. Be a sanctuary that deals with ethics to the elephants. Sure they are loose and they can socialize. Here them do make goodies for do you photos with them, them carry to a field six months to train them. We bought this service in an ignorant of their true tourist office. They also pose as another field "the happy home Mae Wang elephant". They have it written on a poster in escondido. Please, do not make the same mistake which we have committed.
