Have been with for 1 day medition and teaching in Buddhism. It was a really nice experience and well worth a visit if you are into medition. There were people who had never meditated before, but are you accustomed to meditate so ta on 2 day trip, since I think you get more out of it. This will I do if I get to Chiang Mai again. You have only one day, it is still worth a visit. Remember that reserved space possibly via mail, phone or go past, but one can only participate if you have reduced space. Remember your Passport. They appreciate if you have White clothes on, though not a must for 1 day, but is a must for 2 days. Have you not White clothing so you can purchase the blouse and pants for aggregate 600bath approx. 60kr It is "free" IE, that you choose yourself what you want to donate for this day's experience. Half of the donation goes to an orphanage they run (20bath provides 3 meals food for a child 1 day) the other half goes to the temple and the maintenance of it. 2-day trip costs 100bath approximately 20kr + this one will donate and it is with transport to the site of the temple, 3 meals and accommodation.

Where to stay in Chiang Mai

While visiting Chiang Mai, keep in mind that the old town district and the area surrounding the famous night market offer both boutique (relatively expensive) and backpacker (relatively inexpensive) options. The riverside neighborhoods boast exclusive hotels and resorts, where comparatively pricey rooms come with good views and extensive facilities.
